Search Engine Ranking- Note the following report shows some of the stats slightly inaccurately. Google stats are showing one less than actual google rankings. I need to update my ranking software to correct this. Will have that done shortly

Authority Site

Notice the links shown below the listing denoting authority site

Backlinks: 1128 (according to www.backlinkwatch.com)
There are some very high quality backlinks to this site. The site has been featured on MSNBC.com, MarketingSherpa.com, www.g4tv.com, boing boing, somethingaweful, collisiondetection, and other high profile sites. Numerous very high quality backlinks.

PageRank: Currently 3 which makes no sense other than the theory among the SEO crowd that google is misreporting PR. It has been as high as PR6. I fixed some onsite seo mistakes which may have been the cause of the drop. However regardless of visible pagerank the search rankings have not changed.

Other included domains.
www.belt-buckle-knives.com - a pointer
- planned on developing this for the outdoorsman crowd. The knife sells very well in that crowd. Never did develop the site.
www.sportsmansknives.com - a pointer
www.scooterscoop.com - a directory I planned on developing into a biker social network. Never did. Since I develop web 2.0 sites I could develop that as part of the package if it made sense.
http://www.bondageknife.com/ - hey don't laugh. I had a bunch of sales to people interested in S and M years ago. Turns out they spend some money. Anyway another undeveloped site I planned on turning into something web 2.0
my squidoo page http://www.squidoo.com/beltbuckleknives very well ranked on squidoo and ranked 11 on google for belt buckle knives
my youtube profile (maybe) http://www.youtube.com/user/shunshifu
I'd prefer to keep the profile but would like the buyer to have the video somehow. The video is well ranked in the search engines and generates interest. Several sites play it on their blogs. If I need to give up my profile to transfer then that is ok if there is not another way.

Something awful

Boing boing

Collission Detection

These of course spurred hundreds of posts on smaller blogs generating a huge number of links.

There is also a private police site which lists the knives internally. The point is to warn the police of the knives but the reality is it generates sales among the police.
